Our Approach
November 25th 2024 was the date set to celebrate 110 years of Olympism in Romania, during a Dinner Gala that brought together young and old Romanian olympians, from Leon Rotman, the eldest olympic medalist (91 years old) in canoe (Melbourne 1956) to David Popovici, the double time swimming medalist at Paris 2024.
The event marked 110 years since the establishment of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee (founded in 1914) and represented an inspirational and emotional journey through Romania’s Olympic history. The 110 Years of Olympism in Romania Gala payed tribute to the legendary athletes and officials who have contributed to the success of the Olympic Movement.
